Firsts...

Ah, the beginning of "the firsts"...the holidays, Thanksgiving and Christmas. It's going to be hard, strange, and different, but they will come and they will go and....as time continues on, the "firsts" will become the "seconds" and then the "thirds" and then eventually, I suppose, one will lose count. NOT that it ceases to matter, just that it becomes part of Life. Although it may not be a physical thing, from now on there will be those two empty chairs. Empty, but always full of love and always missed.
